If you don’t think the Grind is enough of a workout, checkout this race. Seek the Peak is designed as a relay but the truly crazy run it solo. That would be Sukhi.
Sukhi ran from Ambleside up Capilano Road, up the Grind and - since that isn’t quite enough of a climb - to the top of the Peak. His time - 1:55:36. Total 16km and with the exception of the occasional flat section it’s pretty much all uphill.
