Welcome Darryle - our newest club member. That’s 89 club members. 20 to 40 people show up on a typical run night - splitting into groups that run anywhere between 6 & 10 minute miles. If your pace is in that range - come out and join us. 5:55pm Tuesdays and Thursdays - False Creek Community Centre.
Two club members and one “almost” club member ran this year’s Boston Marathon.
Doug 3:55:45
Monika 4:05:27
Janna 4:16:03 - something happened between 35 & 40 km.
We’re looking forward to hearing about their experience on Tuesday. Or Thursday - whenever they make it back from the East Coast.
Before I list the Sun Run results - a quick mention of another run this weekend. Grant was in Wenatchee for the marathon - crossing the line in 3:19:54 - 2nd in his age group.
As always, we had a great turnout of club members at the Sun Run. And aren’t we all lucky that the weather forecast was wrong.
