In true PRR spirit - we’ll have lots of volunteers at Skyline and Cypress to cheer on our own 12 runners - and maybe even a bunch of non PRR runners. Can’t make it to the volunteer stations? Head for the finish in Deep Cove and celebrate with the finishers.
July 14 - PRR BBQ
Always a good turn out at this event. Run from the beach rather than from the club.
July 18 - Summerfast
According to Dave M - good baked goods at the finish.
Aug 8 - STORMY
We’ll have at least 3 relay teams in this one. Even in the pouring rain last year we managed to have a good time. If you want to join in the fun - email Sukhi.

November 7 - H2H
Registration opens in August for this event - so it’s not too early to consider whether you want to be part of a team. 8 runners per team, 100km total distance. Individuals legs of 8 - 14 km. Last year we had 4 teams participating. Do we go for 5? What’s not to love about spending a soggy cold day cramped into a car with rain-soaked sweaty runners waiting for your turn to hit the pavement. It’s always a highlight of our running year.
I’m accepting applications for team captain positions already - but the real planning starts in August.
